St. Joseph College envisions a Christ-centered, dynamic and effective school community that adheres to Catholic Philosophy of education and national development goals.
To promote the continuing growth of the spiritual, professional and personal life among members of the academic community.
To ensure the development of self-directed and responsible students who are academically and vocationally equipped and ready to serve others.
To promote curricular programs that respond to poverty alleviation, justice and peace, environmental stewardship and responsible citizenship.
St. Joseph College-Olongapo Inc., (formerly St. Joseph's School), is one of the Catholic institutions in the Diocese of Iba dedicated to serve the educational needs of the students of Olongapo and of the neighboring towns of Zambales and Bataan.
The growth and development of St. Joseph's School can be considered phenomenal. The school was formally established after World War II by the Society of the Divine Word Fathers with Fr. Rizalino Veneracion as the first Director.
The growth of the School as a whole was also influenced by the rapid development of Olongapo City. New buildings and new curricular offerings were added to meet the needs of a growing student populace. St. Joseph College-Olongapo Inc. has been given full government recognition in all her course offerings through the leadership of the College President, Rev. Fr. Hanival G. Brucelas.
